When it comes to glass the main thing people worry about is if it clean enough and the problem is that they normally arent. Something you need to understand about glass is that you will never know if it is actually clean until it is perfectly dry. The reason for this is because the water molecules will hide any smudge or scratch in the door. In order to see if the door is actually clean you have to wait until the door is completely dry, so just sit back and wait for that to happen.
Tips to clean your glass door
Spray the middle of the window It is important that you dont spray the corners or a glass window, especially a double pane window. The reason this is important is because spraying the corners will result in left over water resting on the wood or getting in between the two panes. Never spray the corner because if water sits on the wood for too long it will start to rot it and then the glass will become lose. Something most people dont know is that on the inside of a double pane window there is always a small hole that is used to clean out the middle of the two panes and if you keep spraying cleaning solution there it will start to drip down the backside and you wont be able to clean it without professional help.
Use a razor blade If you have hard caked on gook on your glass patio doors then you should use a razor blade to get it off. Most people think that a razor blade will scratch the glass but it doesnt. A razor blade will actually get more off than when you use cleaning solution and a rag. Just know that you never want to use a razor blade on dry glass, always pray it will some kind of cleaning solution for optimal results.
